Three Ponds Shiraz 2004 is hand picked fruit from our Three Ponds Vineyards old vine shiraz. Fermented the traditional way in open fermenters, this wine then spent one year in French oak barrels. The wine displays dark berry flavours, saddle leather, tobacco and fine tannins. This wine will continue to improve until at least 2025, and is drinking well presently. Enjoy with beef, lamb, game meat and vintage cheese. Showing very good development in the bottle, this is one for aged Hunter red enthusiasts. Winemaker - C.P.Lin. Sardinian cork closure.
